What You’ll Be Doing:
- Install HVAC systems in residential homes
- Ensure safety and code compliance on every job
- Collaborate with the installation team to get the job done effectively and efficiently
- Represent MasterTech by providing great customer service and a positive and professional attitude
What We’re Looking For:
- An experienced HVAC Installer, preferably with experience as a Lead Installer (3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, wiring, and installations from the ground up
- EPA Certification (required) – NATE Certification a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to adjust communication style to provide the best customer experience possible
- Ability to create detailed job notes for future reference
- Willingness to teach and learn by sharing experiences with coworkers
- Open to trying new ideas and recommending process improvements
- Frequent communication with dispatch regarding job status and scheduling
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in customer homes and company vehicles
- Commitment to working safely and helping ensure teammates work safely
- Positive, can-do attitude
Physical Demands / Working Conditions:
- Sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, use hands to handle controls, hear, and talk
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs. or more
- Climb ladders
- Work in hot and cold environments
- Work in small crawl spaces and attics
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment varies depending on the season and scope of work. Employees must work outdoors throughout all seasons.
- The position requires adaptability to interruptions and changing priorities, along with effective and consistent communication with customers, vendors, and team members
Pay:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Schedule:
Hours vary based on project needs and may require occasional overtime.
