The Job: San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful pool, a kids pool, stunning Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Lead Housekeeping Supervisor to our Mission Bay Family.
About the Role
As the Lead Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and supporting our housekeeping team while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the Housekeeping Management team, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout guest rooms, public areas, and meeting spaces.
Responsibilities
- Conduct room and public area inspections
- Train and develop team members
- Provide coaching and counseling
- Assist with administrative duties such as payroll, inventory, labor management, and departmental expense control
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Experience in a similar size hotel: (357+ rooms)
- Full service hotel experience, preferable in an upscale independent hotel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Take ownership of your tasks and feedback from your manager so you can continue to grow
- Consistent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Flexible schedule availability
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus
