Lead Host/Hostess

About the role

As a Host at PABU Izakaya, you are the first and last impression of the guest experience. With warmth, organization, and grace, you’ll manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and ensure a seamless flow in the dining room while setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations and greet guests
• Seat guests and ensure a smooth dining experience
• Ensure a welcoming and organized dining room
• Set the tone for exceptional hospitality

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume atmosphere
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience working with Open Table, Seven Rooms, and register POS systems preferred
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly
• Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• At least 16 years of age
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time

Qualifications

• Well-spoken and exude hospitality in person and on the phone
• Absolutely love the kitchen and the food
