Responsibilities & Duties: Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurantHelping guests with reservations and guiding them to their tableGiving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting areaProviding customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may haveOptimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staffAnswering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (Preferred)Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industryPositive attitude and interpersonal skillsGood communication skills and phone etiquetteFlexibility when working alternating shiftsAbility to stand for long periods of time OpenTable Experience RequiredMust have strong Open table background - full availabilityHostess experience with large restaurants (300 seats or more) a plus Grove Bay is an E-Verify and equal opportunity employer, you must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
