About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an HCM Techno-Functional Senior Analyst supporting HR, Payroll, and related corporate applications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior techno-functional analyst supporting HCM, Payroll, and related corporate applications.
  • Support current HCM and Payroll applications while contributing to ERP cloud migration planning, design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
  • Act as a functional and technical subject matter expert for HR, Payroll, and related business processes.
  • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable system solutions.
  • Elicit, analyze, and refine business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, data analysis, and system research.
  • Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support HCM application enhancements, reports, dashboards, integrations, interfaces, and automation solutions.
  • Analyze HR and Payroll business processes, system workflows, data flows, integrations, and reporting needs to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, improved accuracy, and better user experience.
  • Develop functional designs, technical specifications, test plans, process flows, support documentation, and user-facing materials.
  • Apply strong data analysis skills to troubleshoot issues, validate results, support reporting accuracy, and ensure data integrity.
  • Support integrations between HCM platforms and internal or external systems using APIs, flat files, middleware, integration brokers, or cloud integration platforms.
  • Participate in ERP modernization and cloud migration activities, including fit-gap analysis, data conversion, integration design, testing, security review, reporting strategy, change readiness, and post-production support.
  • Deliver solutions using delivered functionality, configuration, and best practices where possible, minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
  • Support HR analytics and reporting solutions that provide operational insights, compliance reporting, audit support, and decision support.
  • Participate fully in the system development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, production migration, and post-production support.
  • Ensure system changes, reports, integrations, analytics deliverables, and defect fixes are fully tested, documented, approved, and compliant with change management standards.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, data issues, application defects, integration failures, and reporting discrepancies with urgency and strong root-cause analysis.
  • Provide timely support for production issues, service requests, outages, escalations, and after-hours activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, data teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business partners to estimate work, manage dependencies, and meet delivery timelines.
  • Mentor junior team members through hands-on guidance, design reviews, troubleshooting support, and knowledge sharing.
  • Follow enterprise standards for architecture, security, privacy, data governance, testing, coding, documentation, and change migration.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, analytics, and modern technology capabilities to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience supporting, enhancing, or implementing enterprise HCM applications in a techno-functional role.
  • Strong experience with at least one major HCM platform, such as: PeopleSoft HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM, Workday HCM.
  • Strong understanding of HR and/or Payroll business processes, data structures, system workflows, integrations, security, reporting, and operational support needs.
  • Experience supporting HCM modules or functional areas such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Position Management, Employee.
  • Experience supporting system analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development coordination, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Experience analyzing complex business requirements, assessing system impacts, identifying risks, and designing scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Experience working with HCM data models, tables, reports, integrations, and data validation processes.
  • Experience supporting integrations between HCM systems and internal or external applications using APIs, flat files, middleware, integration tools, or vendor platforms.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with the ability to investigate issues, validate results, reconcile data, and support reporting accuracy.
  • Experience producing high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional designs, technical specifications, process flows, test scripts, test results, deployment plans, and support guides.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC practices, change management, testing methodology, security review, and production migration processes in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio or similar process documentation tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to work directly with HR, Payroll, business users, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve issues independently, meet deadlines, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated accountability, ownership, follow-through, and commitment to delivering reliable business outcomes.
  • Able to work effectively with ambiguity, ask the right questions, and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
