Role Details
Rate: $50/hour
Location: Santa Clara, CA (hybrid)
What You'll Do
- Lead and coach the annotation team; manage workload, performance, and development
- Drive execution across multiple workstreams; balance quality, timelines, and priorities
- Own client-facing updates, risks, action plans, and delivery progress
- Serve as the point of contact for workflow questions and escalations
- Track performance and quality metrics; run calibrations and quality reviews
- Develop and refine guidelines, documentation, and processes
- Partner with Quality, Operations, Product, and Engineering to resolve complex cases
- Support onboarding and prepare regular status and quality reports
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in AI data operations, annotation, QA, content quality, or similar
- 3+ years leading teams and managing projects with ownership of delivery and quality
- Strong stakeholder management and clear written/verbal communication
- Excellent organization and prioritization in fast-moving settings
- Experience creating documentation and quality standards; comfortable with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multimodal annotation programs, QA/calibration, and annotation tools
- Cross-functional work with Product, Engineering, Research, or Vendor Management
- Familiarity with reporting/dashboards/process improvement; basic Python/SQL a plus
