Job Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience serving as a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar engineering leadership role.
- Strong full-stack development experience using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience designing scalable application architectures, RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience leading code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Familiarity with modern AI technologies, developer productivity tools, or AI-enabled application patterns and an interest in applying them appropriately within enterprise software solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product teams, executive stakeholders, and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Project and Skill Requirements
- Experience supporting federal, state, or local government technology programs.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments, including compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.
- Experience leading cloud modernization, legacy application modernization, or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience developing technical roadmaps, solution architectures, and engineering standards.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience designing, integrating, or deploying AI-enabled application capabilities, including generative AI, intelligent automation, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), within enterprise software solutions.
- Experience evaluating AI technologies with consideration for security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI practices in regulated environments.
- Experience supporting government proposal efforts or serving as Key Personnel on government contracts.
- Active or previous Public Trust, Secret, or other government security clearance.
- Experience with accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG) and secure software development practices.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or during meetings.
