About the role

The Amazon operations team is seeking Lead Fulfillment Associates to support operations leaders and associates in fulfilling orders efficiently within fulfillment centers. These positions include roles such as Trainer, Process Assistant, and Shipping Clerk, among others.

Responsibilities

- Perform pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. - Communicate instructions to other associates, motivate them, and keep work areas safe. - Hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center, including ISS Representative, Process Assistant, Dock Clerk, Receiving Clerk, Shipping Clerk, and Non-Inventory Receive Clerk. - Assist in maintaining the link between Corporate Retail Teams and the Fulfillment Center, and escalate problems to Operations leaders. - Support daily management of department duties, allocate labor, lead meetings, assign job duties, and communicate with internal and external suppliers. - Manage inbound flow from scheduling appointments to time of receives, communicate with carriers, and manage buffers. - Schedule inbound deliveries in dock master using Advance Ship Notices, communicate with carriers, and manage scheduled appointments. - Correspond with multiple shipping companies, ship and track packages, coordinate trailers, and follow processes with the Trailer Dock Release program. - Work in a team environment with Procurement to administer the flow of non-inventory goods, organize supplies, and train backup clerks. - Provide technical support and tactical execution of the Regulated Waste Procedure, and work with Operations and EHS Teams to maintain compliance. - Monitor overall floor health, lead safe and effective work dispatch for Amnesty Floor Monitors, and ensure minimum impact on downstream operations. - Resolve issues on the Amazon Robotics floor, help associates at stations with amnesty processing and prevention, and perform tasks related to the AR floor. - Work closely with the ICQA and operations teams in Inbound and Outbound to provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of defects, and support compliance to ICQA-related SoX requirements.

Requirements

- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. - Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays. - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience. - Basic understanding of warehouse operations and technology. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
