Lead Fulfillment Associate, MQY2

Description

The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Performing production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks.
• Communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them and keeping their work areas safe.

Requirements

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Age 18 or older

Qualifications

• A completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others preferred
• 1+ year working in a like environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail) preferred
• Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills preferred

Pay

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
