Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, promptly, and professionally
- Register guests, issue room keys, provide hotel service information, and process payments according to operating standards
- Answer phones courteously with a pleasant, energetic voice
- Plan and implement upgrade strategy for next-day arrivals
- Perform all front desk duties and assist other property staff and guests as needed
- Use guest profiles and names to provide personalized service
- Distribute mail, messages, and faxes following SOP
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics with guests, coworkers, and subordinates
- Develop strong working relationships with coworkers and managers to ensure optimal communication and teamwork
- Act as Manager on Duty when necessary and carry out required duties
- Assist Manager on Duty with guest issues and requests
- Train new and existing front desk agents on check-in/out procedures and quality service standards
- Assist at other department front desks as needed
- Supervise daily front desk operations including check-in/out procedures; verify rooms are checked out and guest bills are correct
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all passing guests
- Conduct site tours of guest rooms and general areas as needed
- Handle confidential information, including guest records, with integrity
- Participate in training classes
- Lead recycling and environmental initiatives
- Maintain a tidy and clean front desk area
- Assist other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Assist Shift Manager with daily room assignments
- Communicate feedback to appropriate managers and update guest history
- Comply with all resort policies, procedures, and standards

- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Fluent communication in English
- Friendly and strong people skills
- Somewhat strong computer skills

Pay
The expected pay range is $22.00/hr – $24.69/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
