Lead Food Service Worker - Full Time - St. Peter's Hospital - Albany, NY

About the role

The Lead Food Service Worker assists staff in the absence of their immediate supervisor. They ensure a safe work environment, oversee employee breaks, and ensure critical duties are completed during each shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper assembly, service of foods, sanitation, and safety in utility areas.
• Assign and monitor critical duties during each shift.
• Set an example by acting professionally and courteously.
• Oversee the work of peers to ensure quality service and compliance with policies.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in the food service industry.
• 1+ year Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Read, write, and speak English at a minimum 6th grade level.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Complete high school level computational skills.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Pay

Pay Range: $17.25-$25.00

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
