Lead Food Service Assistant - FT - Days - St. Vincent's

About the role

Located at GSS ND Bis St Vincent Care Ctr in Bismarck, ND, this position offers a competitive salary range of $16.00 - $25.50 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including a 401k retirement savings plan.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper temperature of food
• Set up and maintain a clean and sanitized serving area
• Prepare and serve food items
• Restock food areas
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Receive payment for food and beverages using a computerized register
• Operate equipment such as grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, computerized cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, telephones, refrigerators and freezers
• Communicate effectively with patrons and co-workers
• Establish effective working relationships

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
• Basic math skills
• Two years experience in food service preferred
• Previous leadership experience preferred

Skills

Experience working in the food industry, ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions, basic math skills, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation processes are essential.
