About the role
Era Living is seeking a full-time Lead Food Server to join their Dining Services team at University House Issaquah Community in Issaquah, WA. The position offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and includes free meals and parking.
Primary Responsibilities
- Treat guests to a world-class dining experience
- Support the Dining Services Director by supervising shifts, interviewing, training new staff, reconciling accounts, and managing inventory
- Ensure the dining room is ready for service at evening meal times
- Interact effectively with residents, family members, visitors, and colleagues
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic knowledge and ability to perform food server functions in a healthcare setting
- Good interpersonal skills when interacting with guests
- Read, write, and communicate in English
- Possess a Washington State Alcohol Permit if applicable
- Pass DSHS background check
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Washington State Alcohol Permit or able to obtain within 30 days of hire (if applicable)
