Lead Server – Dining Services
About the role
The Lead Dining Server supports daily dining operations in a senior living environment, ensuring service excellence and hospitality standards are met for residents and guests. Key responsibilities include providing dining and table service according to established standards, assisting residents with menu selections, and taking accurate meal orders. The role involves supporting and training new servers, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, and adhering to food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the Lead Dining Server helps oversee special events and Bistro operations, maintains confidentiality of resident information, and models professionalism, warmth, and consistency to create a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide dining and table service according to established standards
- Assist residents with menu selections and take accurate meal orders
- Support and train new servers on service steps and expectations
- Maintain a clean and welcoming dining area (cleanliness, setup, and decorum)
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines
- Help oversee special events and Bistro operations
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Model professionalism, warmth, and consistency to create a positive dining experience
