Lead Floor Care Technician - FT

About the role

The Lead Floor Care Technician supports the health and well-being of independent residents by ensuring their apartments, homes, rooms, and common areas are clean and maintained. This role also involves supporting the Environmental Services Supervisor with various housekeeping and laundry duties.

Responsibilities

• Support Environmental Services Supervisor with campus-wide housekeeping, floor care, and laundry duties
• Aid in distributing and monitoring campus-wide inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Report to the Environmental Services Supervisor or other appropriate staff any concerns of safety or health that may exist in work areas, including maintenance problems
• Perform routine and preventative cleaning duties and cover schedules during absences of other Environmental Services staff
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all refurbishments and re-marketing are completed in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

Requirements

• Two years previous experience in a related supervisory position is preferred
• Must have a valid NC Drivers License
• High School or GED equivalent is preferred
• Must possess knowledge of general floor care/housekeeping procedures and operations of equipment

$19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:00p with the possibility of occasional weekend duties
