Lead Fire Systems Technician (Marine & Industrial)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, and repair fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and fire alarm systems in marine and industrial environments
• Absorb and assist with system diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components
• Accurately document inspections, repairs, and installations to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively with senior technicians, subcontractors, and site managers
• Follow OSHA, MSHA, Coast Guard, and company safety protocols at all times
• Develop the skills necessary to eventually guide and support junior technicians or small crews

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
• Ability to obtain a Federal TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
• Willingness to work alternative shifts and occasional weekends as project needs require
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather and industrial conditions
• Commitment to strict safety compliance
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• Financial Compensation: $20.00 – $22.00+ per hour (depending on experience)

Full-Time: Monday–Friday
Shift hours may vary based on project needs
Alternative shifts and occasional weekends may be required

Primary office location: Paducah, KY
Work performed at marine facilities, industrial sites, and regional project locations.
Travel may be required depending on project scope.
