Lead Fire Panel Field Service Technician
About the role
As a Lead Advanced Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical support within the Industrial Automation unit, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive customer satisfaction. You will report directly to the Sr Field Supervisor and work out of the Columbia, SC location on a hybrid schedule, impacting the efficiency, productivity, and safety of customers’ operations through exceptional technical support and service.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support
- Ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Deliver technical expertise and support for complex issues, both remotely and on-site
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
- Conduct training sessions for customers
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on complex technical solutions
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies related to advanced field service
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide and support the field service team effectively
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks efficiently
- Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices in field service operations
