About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Lead Fire Alarm Inspector who embodies enthusiasm, results-driven mindset, and forward-thinking principles. This role is part of a dynamic team committed to growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Test and inspect fire alarm systems in specified buildings
  • Act as team lead, overseeing or directing the work of other Fire Alarm Inspectors
  • Identify and report problems or discrepancies
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for all inspections
  • Handle more complex system tests and inspections
  • Perform after-hours and weekend inspections as required by customers
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
  • Solid math skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
  • Preferred Experience: 1 year relevant experience in one or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, and/or sprinkler systems

Pay

The anticipated compensation of this position is $26 - $27 per hour. Individual pay rates will vary based on the job, department, and location, as well as the individual's skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, and education.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate customer needs.
