Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform inspections and functional testing of fire alarm and life safety systems
- Ensure systems comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and manufacturer requirements
- Produce detailed and accurate inspection reports, including deficiencies and corrective actions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during inspections
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior inspectors and technicians
- Aid with troubleshooting, minor repairs, and system diagnostics
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Cookordinate schedules and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Ensure all work meets company quality, safety, and productivity standards
Qualifications
- NICET Certification (Level II or higher preferred; Level I minimum required)
- 3+ years of experience inspecting fire alarm or related life safety systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and inspection procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Preferred NICET Level II or higher
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Experience in leadership or mentoring roles
- Experience with inspection software and reporting tools

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and operating ladders or lifts
Working Conditions
- Work is performed on active construction sites or customer facilities under varied climate conditions
- Travel may be required based on customer needs
- Overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines or emergency demands
