Lead Financial Analyst - FP&A and IT Finance (Hybrid)

About the role

This role is hybrid, based in Providence, RI, with onsite work required 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of FP&A experience and currently hold a Senior or Lead position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Conduct regular variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making around strategic initiatives, capital investments, and potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Drive the design and delivery of financial KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Leverage advanced Excel skills and tools like PowerBI to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into financial plans.
• Continually improve FP&A processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ideally in a lead role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong experience in variance analysis and KPI development.
• Proficiency in PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information and concepts to non-financial audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Pay

$95,000 - $130,000 per year
