Lead Finance Analyst - WIM Lending

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Aligned Finance Analyst within WIM Lending. Wealth and Investment Management ("WIM") is a leading full service, US wealth management business with over $2 trillion in client assets, 3 million clients and 12,500 financial advisors. WIM is one of the five core lines of Business at Wells Fargo and represents 20% of firm-wide revenue. This role is part of the WIM Finance team and will report to the CFO of WIM Lending.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
• Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
• Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
• Support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation
• Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
• Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide
• Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Lead business contact for the Custom Lending and mortgage business, responsible for financial analysis and key metrics reporting, and business analytics, and pricing
• Interface with the Product Management team, and support profitability analysis across Lending products
• Review and guide junior analysts in the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Prior experience supporting a wealth, consumer or commercial lending business
• Prior experience with mortgage pricing frameworks
• Champion strategic finance, leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and build analytical frameworks
• Embrace change in a manner that mitigates risk and organizational confusion
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to coherently present complex financial topics tailored to all audience
• 5+ years of experience in Wealth or Private Bank
• Proficiency in BI tools Essbase, and/or Tableau
