Responsibilities
- Lead and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of building fire systems and related equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field service technicians to enhance team performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site to ensure minimal downtime for customers.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of service projects.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in field service roles, particularly with building fire systems or related systems, demonstrating strong technical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- In-depth knowledge of building fire systems equipment, controls, and sensors.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software applications relevant to field service operations.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians, managing priorities and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in field service environments.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in field service within building fire systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Honeywell Building Fire Systems and software is highly desirable.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple service calls and projects efficiently.
- Nicet I or Nicet II Certification preferred.
