Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Operations
- Create and manage technician schedules to ensure proper coverage across shifts and facilities
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews, goal-setting, coaching, and mentorship
- Support technician development through hands-on training and advanced troubleshooting guidance
- Facilities Maintenance Oversight
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, including: HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, general facility repairs
- Vendor and contractor coordination
- Support technicians with complex troubleshooting and high-priority repair escalation
- Financial & Administrative Management
- Approve and reconcile technician timecards and overtime
- Validate expense reports and ensure policy compliance
- Manage consumables, parts inventory, and repair-related spending
- Support budget forecasting and cost optimization initiatives
- Service & Performance Management
- Drive SLA compliance by monitoring response and resolution times
- Track and report key operational performance metrics
- Partner with Operations leadership to improve facility uptime and efficiency
- Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across sites
- Vendor & Compliance Oversight
- Coordinate and validate third-party contractor reports and repair documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies
- Support commissioning activities and evolving maintenance processes
Requirements
- EPA Certification
- 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Experience managing maintenance priorities across multiple sites
- Able to lead teams in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Commercial facilities or restaurant/hospitality maintenance experience
- Experience managing vendors and third-party contractors
- HVAC/R certification or trade school background
- Familiarity with CMMS/work order management systems
- Experience tracking SLAs, KPI, procuring parts and equipment
