About the role

The Lead Facilities Technician - Chilled Water Systems is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of chilled water systems within the facility. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of chilled water systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other facilities technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chilled water systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent system failures and reduce downtime.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to improve system design and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and operations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of technicians.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning principles.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule
