Key Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings, scope, and specifications to prepare accurate and timely project proposals.
- Utilize AutoQuotes for estimating and pricing equipment and materials.
- Enter and maintain project data in internal systems and databases.
- Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturer reps, general contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively follow up with customers throughout the bidding process.
- Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies, ensuring proposals are aligned with project scope.
- Prepare project budgets and ensure timely submission to clients.
- Track bid status and update all documentation to reflect current project progress.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities
- 2–5 years of related experience in estimating,
- Proficiency in AutoQuotes and reading construction drawings is strongly preferred.
- Excellent basic math and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer-first mindset with a professional and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in foodservice equipment, commercial kitchen design, or related industry preferred.
Compensation
$75,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
