Lead Equipment Operator - Residential Projects

What You'll Do

• Operate excavators, skid steers, dozers, and other construction equipment
• Perform residential excavation and site development work
• Auxiliary tasks include basement excavation, drain field installation, driveway grading, utility work, and drainage projects
• Read grade stakes, site plans, and utility markings
• Work closely with project managers and fellow crew members
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities
• Perform final grading and finish work
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites
• Complete basic daily paperwork and equipment inspections

What We're Looking For

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience and residential excavation experience required
• Experience with two or more of the following: Basement excavation, Driveway grading and site development, Septic systems and drain fields, Underground utility installation, Drainage work
• Ability to read grades and construction plans
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work well with a small crew
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT physical and Chauffeur's License
