Lead Environmental Services EVS Worker (2nd Shift) Glenbrook Hospital at Endeavor Health

Employment Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift. Candidates must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Pay

$18.25 per hour plus shift and weekend pay, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist management and supervisors at the beginning and end of shifts with sign-in, supplies, and equipment sign-out/sign-in
• Support shift operations in preparing and delivering supplies to meet employee needs
• Perform assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms as needed
• Adhere to all departmental sanitation procedures
• Report employee issues, including safety concerns, injuries, and disciplinary matters
• Supervise staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services
• Develop action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
• Assist in employee training, coaching, and motivation
• Maintain accurate record-keeping for quality control systems
• Adhere to safety training programs to provide a safe working environment
• Comply with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal requirements
• Maintain compliance with Aramark’s standards and client contracts
• Maintain records and reports to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in environmental services
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to apply elementary math functions
• Ability to work well under time constraints
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
• Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions
• Ability to work independently after appropriate training
• Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude toward customers, co-workers, and clients
