About the Role
The Lead Enterprise Schedule Analyst will work with systems engineers and program, project, and segment managers to provide leadership in schedule development and management. Responsibilities include overseeing integrated schedules, conducting critical path analysis, identifying dependencies, performing "What-if?" analyses, and delivering comprehensive visualization and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, maintain, and operate automated enterprise schedules using government-approved tools (e.g., Microsoft Project/Project Server) to integrate and assess schedule data across NGA and Mission Partners.
- Develop and update processes for schedule creation, data collection, critical path analysis, dependency identification, and "What-if?" scenario analysis.
- Ensure critical path analysis and "what-if" scenarios are conducted to assess schedule achievability, change impacts, and risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead NGA/NSG meetings by presenting schedule data, including reports, Gantt charts, and visualizations, to communicate status, deviations, and areas of concern.
- Coordinate with programs to obtain data for creating and maintaining schedules, including linkages, dependencies, and appropriate levels of detail.
- Engage with mission partners to understand key dependencies NGA has with external stakeholders.
- Identify system development milestones that align with enterprise epics or equivalent planning timeframes.
- Develop, manage, and maintain connections between strategic-level guidance, enterprise-level effectivities, and lower-level program/project milestones.
- Support enterprise, cross-program, and cross-project schedule and technical roadmap development, milestone reviews, and baseline maintenance.
- Collaborate with the GPOC lead for Enterprise Release Management to facilitate coordinated capability releases.
Requirements
- Expert-level scheduling experience (10+ years).
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools for program, project, and enterprise-level schedule management and reporting.
- At least five years of experience in government or industry establishing, managing, or leading tool-based schedule management and reporting processes for traditional and Agile efforts.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
- Leadership or management experience, including overseeing tasks and approving issue resolution.
- Ability to provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and direct senior personnel/contractors through the project lifecycle.
Skills and Tasks
- Develop and apply complex concepts and processes spanning multiple organizations and disciplines.
- Perform multiple tasks at an expert level and lead senior/mid-level personnel.
- Recommend new technologies to senior leadership.
Education
- Master’s degree plus 10 years of experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of experience, or
- Associate’s degree plus 14 years of experience, or
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field.
Pay
- Washington Metropolitan Area: $146,500 – $207,200
- St. Louis, MO: $130,000 – $183,800
- Huntsville, AL: $130,300 – $184,300
Salary is determined by factors including scope, experience, clearance, education, skills, and geographic location.
