About the Role

The Senior Enterprise Schedule Analyst will support the Expert Enterprise Schedule Analyst and the Expert Enterprise Schedule Analyst Lead and work with systems engineers and program, project, and segment managers to provide leadership of schedule development and management activities. This includes overseeing the development of integrated schedules, collecting and reviewing program, project, and segment data, conducting critical path analysis, identifying schedule dependencies, performing "What-if?" analyses, and providing comprehensive visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, maintain, and operate automated enterprise schedule(s) using government-approved schedule tools (e.g., Microsoft Project/Project Server) to allow for the integration and assessment of schedule data across NGA and Mission Partners.
  • Create and update defined processes to develop schedules, collect and review interagency, program, project, and segment data to update and maintain integrated schedules, conduct critical path analysis, identify dependencies, and perform "What-if?" analyses.
  • Ensure critical path analysis and "what-if" scenarios are conducted to identify schedule achievability, schedule change impacts, and schedule risk, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead the overall response for NGA/NSG meetings by reviewing and presenting schedule data for programs, projects, and segments, providing reports, Gantt charts, and other visualization products to clearly communicate schedule expectations and status, including deviations and areas of concern.
  • Lead coordination with programs to obtain suitable data for creating and maintaining proper schedules (e.g., linkages, dependencies, level of detail).
  • Lead schedule interactions with mission partner(s) to understand key dependencies NGA has with mission partners.
  • Identify system development milestones that drive phasing of capabilities to meet enterprise epics or equivalent planning timeframes.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the connection of strategic-level guidance and enterprise-level effectivities with lower-level program, project, and segment effectivities and milestones.
  • Develop enterprise, cross-program, and cross-project schedule and technical roadmap development, conduct incremental reviews of schedule milestones and activities, and maintain schedule baselines to ensure informed, up-to-date, and executable enterprise-level schedules.
  • Collaborate with the GPOC lead for Enterprise Release Management to facilitate coordinated capability releases.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Project experience.

Qualifications

Education and experience requirements:

  • Master’s degree plus 4 years of experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience, or
  • Associate’s degree plus 8 years of experience, or
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field.

Desired Qualifications

  • NGA experience.

Skills and Tasks

  • Leads multiple junior/mid-level personnel.
  • May be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Pay

Target salary ranges for this position:

  • Washington Metropolitan Area: $119,900 - $168,400
  • St. Louis, MO: $105,700 - $148,500
  • Huntsville, AL: $106,000 - $148,900

Salary is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, clearance, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
