What You Will Be Doing

• Providing technical oversight and direction in the electronics circuit design and development process for new product development
• Engage in technical, manufacturing, and supply chain issues and opportunities to enable quick decision making
• Define the electronics test plans and test methods, review and approve the electronics design and test results
• Ensure quality of output through internal gate reviews and other appropriate processes
• Support design, analysis, and test of electronics propulsion systems and components to include requirements capture, architecture, schematic capture, design analysis, and implementation of printed circuit boards
• Lab testing and integration of complex electrical components, sensors, test equipment

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in electronics design
• OR Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in electronics design
• OR JD/PhD

Preferred Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience in circuit design
• Strong technical leadership, people management, and project management skills
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), change management, and risk management processes
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and other problem-solving techniques
• Experience with embedded electronics design in aerospace or other industries requiring functional safety applications
• Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards
• Experience with schematic capture tools: Allegro-Cadence/Altium Designer
• Knowledge of Safety Critical Control Systems (DAL A-C), High Integrity Control Solutions
