Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of civil engineering solutions across water resources, drainage, and infrastructure projects
  • Perform engineering evaluations, design work, and cost estimation on awarded projects
  • Design stormwater ponds, drainage systems, and conveyance infrastructure
  • Navigate permitting requirements and prepare permit applications with jurisdictional agencies
  • Manage projects and budgets while collaborating with engineers and support staff
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 8+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Active FL PE license or ability to obtain Florida certification
  • Hands-on experience with pond design, stormwater, drainage, and hydrology and hydraulics
  • Experience with ICPR or other state-approved hydraulic modeling software
  • AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft 365 skills are a strong plus
  • Strong communication and project management skills
