Civil Engineer - Lead
Role Overview
A Professional Engineer is responsible for assessment, planning, evaluation, design, permitting, and construction support across infrastructure projects such as transportation, water and wastewater, flood control, energy, and site development. They use their expertise to prepare designs, provide technical direction, make informed decisions, and oversee resources to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review construction documents and designs.
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and as-built records.
- Perform technical reviews, quality assurance, and quality control.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and problem-solve effectively.
- Lead projects with responsibility and technical proficiency, leveraging at least 7 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and CAD tools.
- Strong research, calculation, design, technical writing, and cost estimating skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
