Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive RF/Electrical system architectures and rapid prototyping efforts.
- Ensure modularity and compliance with open architecture standards.
- Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom component sensors—including radars, EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infrared), active/passive RF, and acoustic sensors.
- Plan and execute field assessments, write test plans, and analyze data to evaluate the performance of layered cUAS defenses.
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams (Software, Aero, Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering) and coordinate with program managers and customers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of RF systems (radars, jammers, High Power Microwave) and UAV/UAS flight vehicle development. Experience in rapid hardware development and simulation environments.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (or current clearance preferred).
