Lead Energy Technician

About the role

To join our team as an Energy Efficiency Technician! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You would be educating power utility customers on Energy Waste Reduction.

Responsibilities

  • Install basic energy-efficient equipment
  • Inspect customers homes for insulation, air sealing, HVAC equipment and make recommendations for saving energy and money
  • Work directly with our Utility Client's diverse, multi-lingual customer base
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications – training provided
  • Show experience or interest and ability to learn about home construction and HVAC equipment to be an effective educator on the topic
  • Travel throughout a defined territory

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience preferred
  • Comfortable using computers and various software
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
  • BPI Certified preferred

Pay

$23/hr

Schedule

Four-day work week, working 10 hour days.
