About the Role

As an Electrical Engineering Technician in Honeywell Aerospace's Advanced Sensing Technology group, you will use your technical skills to support several projects in a fast-paced R&D environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance research and development of technologies such as atomic clocks, atomic RF sensors, and photonics.

In this role, you will work as part of our team of scientists and engineers to develop novel sensing technologies and apply your skills to build, troubleshoot, and characterize various electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development of technologies such as atomic clocks, atomic RF sensors, and photonics.
• Build, troubleshoot, and characterize various electronic devices.
• Work as part of a team of scientists and engineers to develop novel sensing technologies.
• Contribute to the development of a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent and fostering an inclusive culture.

Requirements

You Must Have:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician or a related role

We Value:

• Demonstrated experience in 2 or more of the following fields and/or skills within the last four years: electrical testing, RF circuit board assembly, vacuum systems, solder/cable building, FPGA coding, C coding, CAD design, 3D printing, circuit design and building
• Practical experience working with testing and measurement equipment
• Sound technical judgment and opinions
• Good interpersonal skills and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting
• Self-motivated individuals who can work with little supervision and consistently take initiative
• Ability to make timely decisions even in complex situations, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $88,700. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
