About the Role

The Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at our DTT Center in Kingman, AZ, involves working with children with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. This full-time role includes program supervisory, administrative, and transportation responsibilities, along with direct-care duties in a center-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Supervise and train staff in physical assistance techniques, including lifting and supporting individuals.
• Manage program administrative tasks and transportation responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with state and organizational rules and policies.
• Demonstrate respect for cultural differences and adapt communication to meet the needs of individuals and families receiving support.

Requirements

• Desire, interest, and experience in working with people with disabilities or special needs.
• Ability to physically assist individuals, including lifting and supporting them with or without assistance.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow state and organizational policies.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Arizona driver’s license and meet RISE’s driver requirements.
• Must pass a background check, driving record check, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
