Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence. The Global Service organization within PSLD provides world-class support to Cat® dealers across the globe.

About the role

Location: Peoria, IL (United States). Up to 10% domestic and international travel required. This position requires working onsite five days a week. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of high-impact initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment to business outcomes and achieving measurable results.
  • Act as an embedded partner across teams, actively engaging stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment, and sustained forward momentum.
  • Facilitate decision-making and resolve ambiguity, helping teams navigate complex challenges and competing priorities with clear direction.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on priorities, ownership, and execution approach, ensuring shared understanding and commitment to outcomes.
  • Enable teams to execute effectively, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers and working hands-on to remove them.
  • Translate strategy into coordinated action, shaping work into structured initiatives while adapting as priorities and conditions evolve.
  • Own visibility into progress and outcomes, delivering clear, concise updates that support informed leadership decisions.
  • Foster a results-oriented environment, holding teams accountable to outcomes while actively supporting successful delivery.
  • Work with dealers and multiple teams across Caterpillar (Cat Trade COE, Cat Insurance Services, Cat Legal, Division Compliance, and Distribution Services Divisions) to mitigate risk and ensure all aspects of warranty claiming comply with applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years), and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices, and tools for administering projects.
  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Service Events Domain data, including dealer Work Orders, SMCS hierarchies, service response, fluid sampling, inspection, and Cat Interact.
  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment without direct authority.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working partnerships across business units, dealers, and peer groups.
  • Clear understanding of customer and dealer needs, with the ability to apply that perspective to support practical and commercially effective solutions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clarity without relying on predefined processes.

Pay

Pay Range: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
