Lead Digital Product Manager, AI Platform & Services
About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a reusable AI platform and Pega services supporting a portfolio of business applications. This role will treat shared capabilities as products, partnering with application product managers, business teams, strategy leaders, and technology partners to identify high-value opportunities and translate recurring needs into scalable platform solutions. The Lead Digital Product Manager will define how product teams discover, consume, and adopt shared services while balancing emerging capabilities with platform health, scalability, technical debt, and lifecycle priorities. The role will establish platform standards and governance, lead complex prioritization decisions, and measure success through adoption, reuse, reliability, customer outcomes, realized business value, and improvements in application-team velocity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for reusable AI platform and Pega services that accelerate and scale business value across the product portfolio
- Partner with application product managers, business teams, and strategy leaders to identify high-value opportunities and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions
- Convert insights and recurring needs from feedback channels into reusable APIs, orchestration patterns, and platform capabilities
- Serve as the primary product partner for application teams, understanding their roadmaps and anticipating shared capabilities that reduce duplication and improve delivery speed
- Manage the Pega and horizontal platform backlog, balancing emerging capabilities with platform health, scalability, technical debt, and lifecycle priorities
- Establish a clear service catalog and consumption model that enables product teams to discover, adopt, and support available platform capabilities
- Define platform standards and rules of engagement, including API standards, integration patterns, onboarding requirements, governance expectations, and support models
- Measure platform success through adoption, reuse, reliability, customer outcomes, realized business value, and improvements in application-team velocity
- Lead complex product decisions and ensure capabilities are delivered in accordance with applicable risk, control, security, data, regulatory, and policy requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading AI, workflow, or enterprise platform products that support multiple applications, product teams, or business units
- Demonstrated success defining platform strategy, roadmaps, service offerings, and adoption models that increased reuse and generated measurable customer or business value
- Experience building products for internal developers, application teams, technical users, or other product teams, with a strong understanding of developer and platform customer needs
- Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, data services, orchestration, platform architecture, scalability, reliability, and product lifecycle considerations
- Experience translating recurring customer and implementation needs into reusable platform capabilities while managing the appropriate boundaries between shared services and application-specific requirements
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex product decisions across business, product, engineering, architecture, data, risk, security, and control functions in a matrixed organization

Pay
$119,000.00 – $206,000.00 base pay range; may vary depending on factors including demonstrated performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
