Lead Dietitian
About the role
Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Lead Dietitian in Manteca, CA. The position is located at Morrison Healthcare at Doctor's Hospital Manteca and operates on a Mon-Fri schedule, rotating weekends. The required credential is an RD.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical care and some foodservice oversight from a clinical perspective
- Afford opportunity to assess and provide nutrition services for a predominantly bariatric population
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
- Contribute to and lead QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
- Support the growth of clinical and departmental staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
Requirements
Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with five years of experience, hold a Master’s degree in nutrition, and have Advanced Practice Certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Must be licensed to practice as a Dietitian in the state of practice and have healthcare experience.
Qualifications
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Pay
$88,000 - $100,000 annually

Mon-Fri, rotating weekends
