About the Role

Provides supervision and assistance in food service operations within a healthcare setting, ensuring timely preparation and serving of nutritious, appealing meals in accordance with menus, dietary requirements, and safety protocols. Collaborates with dietitians and staff to implement dietary modifications, maintain proper food storage, and uphold sanitation standards. Performs administrative tasks such as completing reports, managing inventory, and recommending equipment needs. Ensures residents are treated with dignity, adheres to regulations, and maintains confidentiality and safety. Demonstrates physical capability for food preparation, handling emergencies, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Preferred experience in food service supervision.
• Knowledge of food safety, therapeutic diets, and portion control.
• Strong communication, teamwork, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability for lifting, standing, and movement throughout shifts.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and resident rights.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Willingness to participate in training, emergency drills, and adhere to policies and regulations.
