About the role

As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meal services to our patients, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with prescribed menus and nutrition plans
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and handling guidelines
• Aiding with food procurement, inventory management, and budgeting
• Collaborating with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service delivery
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and staff

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Culinary training or experience preferred
• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting or commercial kitchen environment
• Certified dietary cook or registered dietitian a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on customer service and adaptability
