Lead Deck Builder
Responsibilities
- Build custom composite decks
- Read plans and execute projects accurately
- Lead and mentor crew members on the jobsite
- Cook up and coordinate daily work to keep projects moving efficiently
- Ensure projects meet company quality standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite
Qualifications
- Experience in deck building or finish carpentry, with a focus on custom composite decks
- Strong knowledge of framing, layout, stairs, railings, and exterior construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately to ensure precise execution
- Prominent track record of leading and mentoring a team, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards
- Effective communication skills to professionally interact with homeowners and address concerns
- Reliable transportation and a valid Washington driver's license with a clean driving record are required

Burgess Construction is looking for an experienced Lead Deck Builder to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality custom decks, patio covers, railings, and outdoor living spaces throughout Snohomish and North King County. Our projects are designed to last, and our reputation is built on craftsmanship, professionalism, and doing things the right way.
