What you will do...
- Read electrical and control schematics and assemble and wire panels to specification for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and/or pneumatic controls
- Inspect and test completed panels
- Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area
- Work with production team to schedule and prioritize tasks
- Occasionally support installations at local customer facilities
- Be able to sit stand and kneel for long periods of time
What you will need to succeed...
- Availability during core hours of shop operation, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Previous panel building experience
- Formal electrical training or demonstrated on-the-job experience in the electrical field
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 79, UL, and/or CSA codes preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical ability
- Able to meet schedules and deadlines
- Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand tools and small power tools
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and dependability
- Able to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be safety conscious

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds; some lifting may be required from knee to shoulder height or other levels.
- Ability to carry and transport up to 60 pounds for short distances (up to 20 feet).

- Work may take place in varied environments that can be cold, hot, noisy, or wet, and may include exposure to odors or fumes.
