Lead DC Ops

About the role

The Lead DC Ops position at Milwaukee Tool is a 1st shift Monday-Friday role from 6:00 AM-2:00 PM. This role is part of a team that supports the company's mission of providing breakthroughs in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with order picking, replenishing, moving product, and processing orders
• Schedules pick-up
• Trains and coaches employees
• Maintains performance and production goals
• Corrects errors and escalates to the proper individual
• Creates BOLs and bills orders
• Performs computer related tasks and runs reports
• Ensures processes and policies are followed
• Identifies and corrects production issues
• Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

Requirements

• Education equivalent to four years of high school
• 2-3 years general labor experience
• 2 years lead experience preferred

Tools You’ll Bring With You

• Strong communications skills both oral and written

Working Conditions

• Physical Demands: Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of tools and boxes
• Able to work in various temperature conditions
• Operation of motorized forklift
• Physical and Weight Lifting Demands

Pay and Schedule

First shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
