The Role

The Lead Data Analyst / Advanced Analytics Lead gathers, preprocesses, cleanses, and validates data from diverse sources to deliver trusted reporting, actionable insights, and advanced analytical solutions. This role owns key elements of the data lifecycle and applies advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling to solve complex business problems.

Main Responsibilities

• Data Acquisition, Integration & Management: Gather, preprocess, cleanse, and validate data from diverse sources; manage complex data movement and storage across multiple repositories; implement quality assurance practices; establish and maintain repeatable processes.
• Data Quality, Discrepancy Resolution & Governance: Identify, reconcile, and resolve data discrepancies; implement quality assurance practices; establish and maintain repeatable processes and documentation.
• Advanced Analytics, Statistical Modeling & Decision Support: Analyze and interpret complex datasets; apply advanced statistical methods; build, test, and validate predictive models; identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictive signals.
• Reporting, Visualization & Business Insights: Develop clear, precise, and compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations; translate analytical results into actionable recommendations; respond to business requests with structured analysis.
• Business Case Development & Strategic Impact: Develop business cases and complex analytical models; influence decision-making; lead significant analytics initiatives.
• Tools & Technologies: Use a range of analytics and visualization tools; leverage cloud and big data ecosystems based on project needs.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor; contribute to long-term analytics capabilities.

Main Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, business analytics, advanced analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets across multiple sources and repositories, including data cleansing, mapping, and discrepancy resolution.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills with experience developing and validating models for decision support.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience building dashboards/visualizations.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly and influence stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands and consistently deliver high-quality results on time.
• Self-directed and resourceful, with the ability to operate effectively with limited guidance while maintaining alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
