Lead Custodian

Location: 5250 Fieldston Rd, Bronx, NY 10471
Hours: Mon-Fri (9am-5pm)

About the role

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated Custodial Lead to ensure a clean and safe environment within our facilities. In this role, you'll perform and lead custodial tasks, operate various industrial cleaning equipment, and manage and supervise a team of environmental services staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead custodial tasks as needed.
• Operate various industrial cleaning equipment.
• Supervise small groups of custodial staff on different shifts.
• Assume responsibility in the absence of the Account Manager.
• Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
• Use protective gear during all cleaning tasks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Environmental Services, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to understand in-services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and chemical handling.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work various shifts.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Must reside within the service area.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Pay

USD $22.00 - USD $24.25 /Hr.
