Lead Custodian - Acute Rehab - FT - Days
The Lead Custodian Assists EVS Manager in maintaining a high quality standard by keeping him/her informed on the condition of all assigned areas and by leading, training and motivating the environmental services staff, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner. Assists management with prioritizing daily work activities, ensuring appropriate supply levels, and assisting with monitoring and training staff on Closet Tip lists. Other various related housekeeping duties may be performed as assigned.

- The ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Strong customer service orientation and customer service skills appropriate for the position level
- Demonstrated advanced level custodial experience working in healthcare environment, with an understanding of necessary supplies and equipment
- Ability to work in various locations, as well as rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to perform the duties of an Custodian or Senior Custodian as outlined in the job descriptions
