Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Patient CT Imaging
• Explains and prepares patients for CT imaging procedures
• Performs routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
• Maintains positive attitude and working relationships
• Maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Maintains an orderly and clean work area
• Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
• Maintains equipment in good working order
• Cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
• Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

Team Leadership

• Aids in the hiring process
• Coordinates the training and onboarding of new team members
• Makes and participates in performance reviews, development, and performance management of team members
• Evaluates workflow and implements process improvements for the team
• Ensures team has knowledge of company and department policies
• Supports associates ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction
• Leads special projects and/or committees, as assigned
• Manages other departments in the absence of manager or peers

Requirements

• Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Certified in imaging specialty
• Four (4) years' imaging experience
• One (1) year working as a resource/mentoring to others and identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
• Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current Cardiopulmonary Respiration (CPR) certification
• Training and experience sufficient to competently perform advanced CT procedures independently with highest quality
• Certification in imaging specialty
• Bilingual
• Works in multiple modalities and/or has multi-modality certifications
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
