Job Summary
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Patient CT Imaging
- Explains and prepares patients for CT imaging procedures
- Performs routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
- Maintains positive attitude and working relationships
- Maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Maintains an orderly and clean work area
- Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
- Maintains equipment in good working order
- Cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
- Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
Team Leadership
- Aids in the hiring process
- Coordinates the training and onboarding of new team members
- Makes and participates in performance reviews, development, and performance management of team members
- Evaluates workflow and implements process improvements for the team
- Ensures team has knowledge of company and department policies
- Supports associates ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction
- Leads special projects and/or committees, as assigned
- Manages other departments in the absence of manager or peers
Requirements
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
- Certified in imaging specialty
- Four (4) years' imaging experience
- One (1) year working as a resource/mentoring to others and identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Current Cardiopulmonary Respiration (CPR) certification
- Training and experience sufficient to competently perform advanced CT procedures independently with highest quality
- Certification in imaging specialty
- Bilingual
- Works in multiple modalities and/or has multi-modality certifications
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
