About the role

This position, along with the Branch Manager and/or Assistant Branch Manager, provides leadership for the branch in all areas of operations to deliver a very high level of service to members while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch staff with questions that arise from daily member interactions.
• Train and develop staff to help them achieve their goals.
• Assist members professionally and courteously, accurately executing transactions, account maintenance, opening or closing accounts, processing loan applications, and completing IRA documents.
• Support the Branch Manager in building and maintaining an environment where staff evaluate member needs and cross-sell products and services to meet those needs, helping the branch and individuals reach sales goals.
• Develop technical and analytical skills, including troubleshooting multiple systems, understanding regulations and policies, reinforcing knowledge with staff, and multitasking.
• Support the Branch Manager with branch strategy to meet all goals and metrics.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
• Communicate effectively with the Branch Manager on all branch-related aspects, including member or staff concerns.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer service-related experience.
• Consumer lending experience.
• Strong customer service and sales skills in a financial services environment.
• Strong leadership skills.
• High professional standards, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.
