About the role
This position, along with the Branch Manager and/or Assistant Branch Manager, provides leadership for the branch in all areas of operations to deliver a very high level of service to members while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support Branch staff with questions that arise from daily member interactions.
- Train and develop staff to help them achieve their goals.
- Assist members professionally and courteously, accurately executing transactions, account maintenance, opening or closing accounts, processing loan applications, and completing IRA documents.
- Support the Branch Manager in building and maintaining an environment where staff evaluate member needs and cross-sell products and services to meet those needs, helping the branch and individuals reach sales goals.
- Develop technical and analytical skills, including troubleshooting multiple systems, understanding regulations and policies, reinforcing knowledge with staff, and multitasking.
- Support the Branch Manager with branch strategy to meet all goals and metrics.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with the Branch Manager on all branch-related aspects, including member or staff concerns.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of customer service-related experience.
- Consumer lending experience.
- Strong customer service and sales skills in a financial services environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- High professional standards, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.
