About the role
The Contract Portfolio Manager will oversee the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts and customer obligations. Responsibilities include managing service agreements, fixed price, and time and material programs, interacting with various teams, and negotiating changes and solutions to issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests.
- Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project, and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising.
- Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.
- Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision.
- Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts.
- Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters.
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 5 years Power Industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with field engineering / Gas or Steam turbine maintenance experience.
- Must live within 1 hour drive of the two sites that are covered by this role. Sites in the Orlando, FL and Cocoa, FL area.

- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
- Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience within the power industry.
- Experience planning and executing outages.
- Familiarity with Contractual Service Agreements.
- Strong quality background with Black Belt certification.
- Strong leadership, financial and commercial skills.
- Knowledge of the Field Service Portal (FSP) systems.

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
